US Military Machine Gun Mounts

The MK93 machine gun mount accepts the M2 series .50 caliber machine gun and the MK19 MOD3 40mm grenade launcher. This is a buffered mounting system and is commonly used in conjunction with the Universal Pintle Adapter (UPA) and Traverse and Elevation Mechanism (T&E). Adapters are also available to enable the MK93 to accept M240/M249 and M60 series weapons.

The Universal Pintle Adapter (UPA) is used with the MK93 Mod 2 weapon mount in vehicle/turret configurations. The UPA has a friction lock collar that stops the lateral movement of the mount and an elevation friction knob that allows elevation adjustments. The indicator bar on the rear of the UPA is the connection point for the Traverse & Elevating Mechanism (T&E). The UPA mounts into a standard Bearing Sleeve.

The Traversing & Elevating Mechanism is device that enables small accurate one mil adjustment to the elevation and azimuth to a MK93 Mod 2 Machine Gun Mount. The T&E Mechanism is the connection device between the Universal Pintle Adapter and the MK93 Mod 2 Machine Gun Mount.

For use with the MK93 weapon mount and the M157 bufferless weapon mount.

The MK97 machine gun mount accepts the M240 or M249 series machine guns. It can be installed on a standard MK16 MOD8 or MOD9 stand assemblies, MK38 fixed or adjustable mount, or various other vehicle, swing arm, and boat mounting sockets.

The ammunition can holder is integrated and holds NATO standard 200 round 7.62mm ammunition cans. Available with large/small pintle for use in all standard US Military/NATO pintle sockets.

The high strength, lightweight, aluminum design utilizes the standard US Govt. small pintle for swing arms, pedestals and turrets. The cradle supports the M249, M240, and the MK48 machine gun.

For use with the M240 and M249. Can be used in a ground tripod or other applications using the small NATO pintle.

The MK99 weapon mount is for use with twin M240 machine guns, and can be produced in stainless steel or 4130. Features:

The M157 is a bufferless gun mount and is for use with the M2HB/M2A1/M2A2 series .50 caliber machine guns, as well as the MK19 40mm grenade launcher. With optional adapters, the M60 series, M240 and M249 machine gun variants can also be used.

The M157 provides reduced weight and increased weapon reliability through a “bufferless” design, which mitigates mount-induced harmonic interference.
